Rates offered are CONFIDENTIAL between The Company and The Car Brokers mentioned in this agreement and can only be for the operators inbound Programmed into Singapore and cannot be published or offered for sale locally within Malaysia and Singapore.
STANDARD RENTAL QUALIFICATION:
The Hirer must meet the standard car hire rental agreement terms and conditions. (A copy is attached). Failure to meet the standard terms
and conditions of a rental will result in refusal of rental. The hirer will be bound by the laws governing the Hire of the vehicle and any
contravention of local laws; will result in fines by the authorities concerned to the hirer.
VEHICLE MAKE AND MODEL:
Vehicle makes and models are correct at this time of submitting the proposal. The company reserves the right to vary the make and model of
the vehicle but will make every effort to honor specific car model requests. Bookings will only be confirmed by group and not by vehicle type.
All vehicles are air conditioned and fitted with radio CD player. Cars may be collected at Airport or Hotel in Singapore and may be returned to
any Hawk rental station within Singapore.
No further discount or deductions will be entertained on these rates under any circumstances.
EXTENSION OF RENTAL:
Car hire charges billed to the Agent will cover only for the period stated on the agents Reservations Advice/MCO/Voucher. For any further
extension of hire, the prevailing Standard Tariff less 35% discount will apply. Excess hours are calculated at 1/5th of the daily applicable rate.
General Insurance coverage of up to S$500,000 for third party property damage, unlimited for third party death or bodily injury. The hirer is
obliged to promptly report any accident, theft or vandalism involving the vehicle to a Hawk rental office and / or the nearest police station. A
valid police report will be required to allow Hawk’s investigation of such accident. If there is bodily injury, the hirer must report to the
Singapore police as soon as possible. For non-injury accident, the hirer is required to fill in a Singapore Accident Statement which can be
obtained from Hawk office. Failure to comply with the above may void all liability protection.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW):
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rates.
NONWAIVABLE EXCESS FIRE AND THEFT EXCESS:
Cover for the loss of the vehicle by fire and theft are included together with cover for damages to the vehicles in excess of S$2,500.00 for
groups C, S$3,000.00 for groups E1, S$3,500.00 for group F1 - H. Missing items and or accessories are not protected by our insurance or
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and will be the responsibility of the Hirer, i.e. radio cassette, hub caps or any other accessory fitted to
NON-WAIVABLE EXCESS ACCIDENT DAMAGE EXCESS:
Accident damages to the vehicle, irrespective of the nature of the Accident will incur the client the minimum amount payable for the
damage i.e. The Non-waivable Excess amount of S$1,000 for groups C, S$1,500 for groups E1, and S$2,000 for group F1 - H.
The rates are based on a minimum of 24 hours, and should the rental at the time of return, incur excess hours, the extra hours rates will be
charge according to the Contract Rates. A grace period of one hour will be accorded to the Hirer.
HAWK guarantees a replacement vehicle should the need arise, of similar engine capacity from the nearest rental station, within in a period
of 1 hour at any Hawk Station and within 2-3 hours if the vehicles is at a Hawk City or Town.
A refueling service surcharge will be levied for vehicles returning with less gasoline than when originally rented out, over and above the cost
of refueling. All vehicles are rented with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. Only unleaded gasoline must be used.
A deposit of S$500 (five hundred only) is payable to Hawk upon collection of the vehicle. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the
vehicle, less any monies due to Hawk.
All rentals and miscellaneous charges are subject to a 7% Government Service Tax. Please refer to your rate schedule (Included in the Rental Rates only)
“PAI” provides Personal Insurance protection up to S$35,000 for the Hirer and S$25,000 shared among three (3) passengers for sedan car
and up to 6 passengers for MPV in the event of death as a result of an accident. In addition, only the hirer is covered up to S$5,000 claim on
medical reimbursements. “PAI” is available at the rates given below.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) rates: -All Group: US$4.00 / S$5.50 per day (Subject to 7% GST).
Protection is only valid for the agreed of Hire as indicated on the rental agreement. An extension of rental of rental must be authorized by
Hawk, failing which the “PAI” cover will not be valid.
The hirer must be in possession of a valid driving license held for at least one (1) year. An International driving permit/license is preferred.
Minimum age 23 years old and maximum age 70 years old.
BABY SEAT / GPS:
Baby seat, child seat and GPS are available on request and such request must be made at the time of confirming the reservation. Surcharges
of US$12.50 / S$17.50 per day exclude 7% GST. Loss or damage to this equipment will incur a penalty of US$200.00 / S$276.00.
Hirer is not permitted to drive the vehicle into Thailand due to prevailing insurance conditions. Driving the vehicle into Peninsular Malaysia
is allowed but must first inform Hawk. However, should a vehicle enter Peninsular Malaysia and incur any fines, Hawk reserve the right to
charge such fines resulting from any non-compliance of the road transport rules of Peninsular Malaysia will also incur a drop off fee of
US$350.00 / S$480.00 (subject to 7% GST).
Should we receive any traffic violations/summons for the vehicle that was rented, HAWK reserves the right to charge the Hirer’s Credit Card
for full sum of penalty plus an US$20.00 / S$28.00 handling fee.

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW:
Cancellation received less than 48hours before the pick-up date or No Show will incur a cancellation fee of one day rental charge.
Under the terms of this contract HAWK will only offer a 30 days credit period. Hawk reserves the right to withdraw such credit
arrangement, should fail to observe the terms of credit.
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT:
Hawk reserves the right to terminate the Contract, providing the Agent a 14 days’ notice, should the Agent fail to observe any one of the
I. Failure to make payments due to Hawk within the agreed credit period.
II. Bringing hawk to disrepute in any manner with the clientele or any foreign party.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION CHARGES:
A surcharge of US$35.00 / S$48.00 per delivery and collection in city area and US$45.00 / S$62.00 per delivery and collection for airport
will be levied during normal business hours, (0900hrs - 1730hrs on Monday – Friday & 0900hrs – 1300hrs on Saturday).
A surcharge of US$45 / S$62.00 will be imposed for delivery or collection in city area and US$55.00 / S$76.00 for airport before and after
office hours, Sunday and Public Holiday.
No deliveries and collections will be entertained after 2100 to 0700 hrs.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
